What about DOCS/tech/{wishlist,TODO,MAINTAINERS}? Aren't they in the wrong directory?
Shouldn't MAINTAINERS be merged into main/AUTHORS?
And shouldn't TODO moved to main, as well as wishlist.
And how about renaming wishlist to the more standard name 'WISHLIST'?

And maybe adding status to features in TODO and WISHLIST? (not begun, maybe, in progress, ...)
