    Hi, Arpi!

Sometime (on Sunday, December 22 at 17:31) I've received something...
>> What about the multiformat encoder patch?

>the author promised me an updated version, but i didn't get it yet

>> It's buggy (only mplayer and ffmpeg read those mpeg files), but it has
>> the advantage of dumping the correct ES when it includes mpeg1video
>> (unlike when it's stored in avi).

I've not found why window$ players suspend when they play that mpeg
files, I have no clue why right now. I'll investigate it again... However
mencoder with new patch (attached) produces MPEG files that are playable
by windows players. :) VirtualDub plays these files very well and does
not find any errors but WMP and Sasami2k suspends on some points. :(
BTW, I tried reencode from normal MPEG file just with:
mencoder -of mpeg -ovc copy -oac copy -audio-density 15 -o test.mpeg
When I tried with -ovc lavc -lavc vcodec=mpeg1video:mpeg_quant then WMP
got crasy about audio/video sync. :)
If anyone could help me find out what's wrong with native window$
mpeg decoder then it'll be great and I'll very thankful for him. :)

    With best wishes.
    Andriy.
