actually regarding my patches, I had about 5 small ones accepted rightaway - 2 
of them were fixes to the previous patch by me :)
The only nice thing about cvs write acces is that I don't have to wait 2 weeks 
until a trivial bugfix is committed after thorough checking - but this is not 
a real issue for me at all
