Ugh, well, I am afraid I am running out of ideas now. It would be useful
to add some printfs to see the suspicious vars. Certainly, 'increment' (and
probably newsize too) is bogus which causes realloc to fail. This may mean
that either freetype itself returns bogus charwidth or charheight (in
check_font) or something (charwidth, charheight, current_alloc) is
overwriten. If you could trace these variables a bit, it would be a great
help.
