Heh, I ran the docs through tidy and the W3C validator, seems like there
is always room for improvement :)

I left those intact, I used <H4> tags for unnumbered subsections,
numbered sections have hierarchical header tags, I think it's OK this
way.

BTW, use gcc instead of GCC, we settled for this in the docs.
