Repeatedly running the same command to prevent xss from starting. BTW
this is very annoying for another reason too: unless you mount with
the noatime option (or at least nodiratime?), periodically running a
program like this will cause repeated senseless writes to the hard
drive to update the atime, which will in turn keep it spun up, or else
keep it spinning up and down. This is likely to be annoying while
watching movies (particularly if the movie being played is on CD/DVD
or a separate hd, and even moreso if the hd xss sits on is loud).
