all vfw codecs (including -vc divx) produces 15bpp output.
only dshow and native codecs can do 16bpp. this is why i added 15->16
converter.

it's only used in 15/16 bpp mode. so restart X in 15/16 bpp or use -bpp and
dga or vesa etc.
