hmm. just tried this version.
something must be wrong - i got 4 times slower blit, and 16bpp-like image
(i'm running XF 4.1.0 in 32bpp, Matrox G550)

with old version (CVS) it's ok.

if you have no idea, i'll try to find teh problem.
