Please don't use those domain checker sites!!!!!
They are usually for domain traders! If a domain is
multiple checked, they automatically register it, and
then try to sell it to you at extra price!

The secure method to check it is whois or host commands
of linux/unix (bind package):

whois mplayer.org
host -t ANY mplayer.org
