Hmmm.

User : doesn't need portable source, needs reliability/speed/etc

Developer/porter : will be difficult anyways, so this little script doesn't
matter. I'm experimenting with a Minix port, so I know :)

And RTFM, MPlayer isn't portable, so (again) we don't need autoconf. :)
