<geekjoke>
How about Movie Player for GNU/Linux ?
</geekjoke>

Maybe
"Movie Player for Linux (and many other UN*Xes) " or MPfLamoU ?
"Movie Player for many UN*Xes including our favourite Linux" or MPfmUiofL ?
"Movie Player for many plattforms but not Windows" or MPfmpbnW ?
"Movie Player without a GUI (although it's in work)" or MPwaG(aiiw) ?

Maybe "Movie Player for Linux" is enough, if you add a note on the homepage
that it also runs on other systems.

Nevertheless it would also be correct to call it:

"The only(!) Movie Player for SUN Solaris" or To(!)MPfSS

But I doubt that AOL will pay a million dollar for it one day, if it's called
any of that...
