yes. it will be added after moving current code to libdemuxer.
libdemuxer will have a clean, easy API, like libvo2 and libao2, so
implement new file formats (like wma, mp3, qt, fli etc) will be simple.

btw i think that mplayer is the first media player for linux with own
demuxers with full control over it. other multi-format (mpg/asf/avi/qt/etc)
players under linux use external libs to do everything (like smpeg,
libmpeg2 and avifile) and are only a GUI. So their behaviour (and even video
and audio output method/driver in most cases) are different for each format.
