[Mplayer-dev-eng] XVideo and packed RGB

Hi,

hmm as I looked at xvinfo I saw that it supports packed RGB modes on my card 
(RV16 and RV15), is it possible to use these to display RGB video? (like old 
indeo)

I admit that I don't really know the difference between packed and planar 
modes so feel frem to tell me :) (so I might be talking crap)
