	True, writing a Real file format demuxer wouldn't be too hard
(done it before). But what's this about being able to decode the
compressed media chunks inside? Last time I checked, there were at least 3
distinct Real audio codecs and 3 distinct Real video codecs, all
proprietary, closed-source, binary-only. Are you saying that ffmpeg knows
how to decode those 6 codecs and has implemented them in open source?
