[MPlayer-dev-eng] mplayer and installation

Hi,

i think it should be handled in mplayer itself.
1. search for ~/.mplayer/codecs.conf  -> if found, use it
2. search at common dir. if not found -> error

also, versioning is a good idea, and warning if it's outdated
