My "user" vote would be to retain libdvdread via the -dvd option and
enable this code with some other option.  I use mplayer for
"production" dvd viewing, and libdvdnav seems to be pretty unfinished -
lots of bugs listed with various dvds - so I don't want to lose working
dvd playback.
