[MPlayer-cygwin] FAILURE while Downloading MPlayer CVS

Guys,
As instructed on the website I issued the following commands:

$ cvs -d:pserver:anonymous at mplayerhq.hu:/cvsroot/mplayer login
(Logging in to anonymous at mplayerhq.hu)
CVS password:
cvs [login aborted]: connect to mplayerhq.hu:2401 failed: Connection refusedI
also tried this command
$ cvs -z3 -d:pserver:anonymous at mplayerhq.hu:/cvsroot/mplayer co -P main
cvs [checkout aborted]: connect to mplayerhq.hu:2401 failed: Connection
refused


Can anyone please tell me why is the connection getting refused?
