[MPlayer-cygwin] utf8 filenames in windows?

any ideas how to get it working with mplayer?
other than renaming the files?
i think type utf8file.rmvb|mplayer - might work.

putting it in a playlist does not work... i think its a deeper problem.
windows can see the file fine, usine notepad on the .txt works
but ls and cat both have problems
