Here's subfont.exe which i compiled from the TOOLS
directory:

I actually tested it with ARIAL.ttf and it works fine
if you copy the font to the same directory as
subfont.exe and convert it from there. Also,
mplayer.conf doesn't like long directory names, so if
your font is in C:\Program Files\mplayer\font, the
line in mplayer.conf should be
font=C:\Progra~1\mplayer\font\font.desc
See the docs or the scripts/source in TOOLS/subfont
for usage. Hope this will help.
