[MPlayer-cygwin] mencoder crash using MPlayer-mingw32-1.0pre5

Hi,

I am having a problem encoding DVB streams using 
MPlayer-mingw32-1.0pre5. The following command works:
mencoder testfile1.ts -ovc lavc -lavcopts vcodec=mpeg4:vpass=1 -oac copy

but the following crashes mencoder:
mencoder testfile1.ts -ovc lavc -lavcopts vcodec=mpeg4:vpass=1 -oac 
mp3lame -lameopts vbr=3

I am not sure if the problem is ascociated with mp3lame because the 
following crashes mencoder too:
mencoder testfile1.ts -ovc lavc -vf pp=fd/tn -lavcopts 
vcodec=mpeg4:vpass=1 -oac copy

Any help is greatly appreciated.
