Can't the thread priority be set for mencoder, too? I thing i saw a comment
that mentioned mencoder.c, too. In this case, providing lower priorities is
very usefull for encoding in the background while working on the system.
Why using mencoder to encode in Windows when there are great editing and
encoding tools like e.g. VirtualDub? Because mencoder is the one application
to encode using the x264 codec.
