Cygwin-X project rulez... The new Cygwin X server has a mode where it does not need an external window manager (it uses windows gui) and hides the root window so it looks like it is a native window program :) The gtk needed for mplayer can be found on http://cygnome.sourceforge.net. MPlayer with GUI compiled without any problems... :) Bye
