you mean you want the video card that can handle hardware
mpeg/mpeg2 playback? i believe some nvidia cards an do this
on windows (not with mplayer)  and on linux (with xvmc and mplayer)
but i dont know any model numbers as i dont have one.

winvidix is very new and still very beta, currently mplayer does
not support any hardware decoding on windows, but it is in the
