Strange. I just tested it again with a mobility radeon 9700
and it works as expected. eg
mplayer file
displays the normal movable window on the laptop display
mplayer -fs file
displays the fullscreen window on the laptop display
on the secondary screen I always see the rest of my desktop.
When I start mplayer -vm -adapter 2 file
it plays the video fullscreen on the secondary screen.
And the laptop display shows the desktop.
Is it possible that the docking station switches the displays
so that your laptop display becomes the secondary display?
Still there shouldn't be any problems then.
What do you have in your config file?
Can anyone else reproduce this?
