hello,

i am just getting into looking through the mplayer source, and will start 
compiling my own soon...

but in the meantime i have maintained for some time an installer of the mplayer 
(mingw) for win-users who feel much more secure when an installer is copying 
the appropriate files in the appropriate place.... ;-)  (and there is quite a 
lot of them...)
