hi - i have no time at the moment to work myself through to a
satisfactory compilation - that is why i use Sacha's CVS version: all
credits please to him! this actually is not a cygwin package, but a true
win32 executable using mingw.
the only thing i do is to wrap everything into an installer, to make
life to many win-users easier - it is something some people might think
as a contribution == almost NIL to mplayer, and yet i know many win
users that would never dare to install it manually: the original reason
of the installer was to help some friends!
and the huge rate of downloads show that it indeed IS quite popular. i
always fight against breaking my allowed download volume, and already
have the kind support of Frank Stöckl, hosting the files also on his server!
thanx for having downloaded mplayer, and have fun with it!
