Hi,

Does anyone else have the problem mentioned in $subj on cygwin? It does not matter the type of file, mp3, avi, etc. Prior to today, it was just stopping at the status line at 0.0secs and I had to CTRL-C or kill the process. I am not able to gdb it, but I can try if no one has ideas for what it could be from this VERY small info. This is NOT a proper bugreport, I know!

mplayer -v at the point of freeze/sig 11:
$ mplayer -v PhilCollins-LandOfConfusion.mp3 -loop 2

MPlayer interrupted by signal 11 in module: unknown
- MPlayer crashed by bad usage of CPU/FPU/RAM.
  Recompile MPlayer with --enable-debug and make a 'gdb' backtrace and
  disassembly. For details, see DOCS/bugreports.html#crash
- MPlayer crashed. This shouldn't happen.
  It can be a bug in the MPlayer code _or_ in your drivers _or_ in your gcc
