The OSD menu was one of the last missing pieces.  I think the port is
almost complete now.

Here is what DOCS/tech/porting-status.txt says:

 + add an automagical fix of sdl-configure's compile flags (contact
   Atmos for more info)
 + write ao_directx using direct sound as alternative to waveout and
   oss (very low priority)
 + port vidix (needs special device driver for NT/2k/XP and 9x/Me)
 + VCD and DVD support (for the future, maybe vlc helps)

So if you feel like tackling any one of those...  Apart from that
there are probably still lots of bugs to fix somewhere.  Updating
mpdvdkit from the latest libdvdcss and libdvdread release is another
pending task.
