I have removed it, just forgot to update that in the docs yesterday.  You can also do it when compiling SDL itself, by adding --disable-redirect sth similar, I forget the exact verbage.  If you are adding what I wrote to your docs, please remove the -mwindows on your end as well. :)

Sig 11 and doesn't drop back to shell.  I think this has to do with the above that I mentioned abt actually being in 16bpp.  I'll try format=rgb16 instead and let you know.

Don't know, videolan doesn't like my system...
