Not sure what you mean, I think you made a copy-paste mistake
somewhere.
One reason is of course to make it clear which one should be
considered the preferred one in the long-term.
But there are other open questions, for example if we should
maybe just be using the normal codec entries instead of special
VDPAU ones for the new hwaccel support.
But I think that would require support to be more stable first.
