Although watching quite a bit of stuff, i never had any probs with
slow startup. MPlayer usualy loads within a second, while most of
the time it seems to be waiting in X11 related stuff. But i think,
i've never had probs because i hardly ever watch stuff with vobsub.
Actually, i dont even remember when i did last time.
