Yes it did, and I would have split this case if it had been an old file.
However the file had been added half an hour earlier and it would have
been better to have all these changes in the initial commit without any
splitting at all. Exactly what differences had existed for half an hour
is not particularly interesting information that would be worth adding
extra commits for.
