Honnestly, I hadn't looked much at the changes on the file.
I'm just trying to synchronize with vidix.sf.net and the patch file was 
given to me by Diego (which himself grab this from god-only-knows-where 
...). The official vidix.sf.net repo is pure trash where commits are
done on multiple files with many unrelated changes and it's damn hard to 
follow up what actually changes out there.
