I can only advise everyone: take it seriously when it says "Beta" for
Fedora or Ubuntu (probably others as well), you _will_ have
(occasionally serious) problems.
At least for me it is not like Debian testing or even unstable which I
sometimes have been using for months without issues.
As a result of that you can't expect it to work flawlessly from one day
to the other when it suddenly isn't called beta anymore ;-)
Though actually in all cases the most common problems are due to
packagers specifying package versions in the dependencies that 1) do not
exist (yet) and 2) despite the fact that it works fine with old versions which
with RPM "mess" leads to 3) using --nodeps and breaking the system even
further (though this time I resisted the urge to do that).
