I considered that, but decided not to change behavior for now as not
defining it didn't seem to speed up h264 decoding noticeably and other
decoding is mostly fast enough anyway. The "gray" option is visible in
MPlayer so setting it to 0 permanently would require cleaning up the
references elsewhere.

I suppose it's not used much. H264 decoding with the option enabled
seems broken (the picture turns green; was broken before the latest
FFmpeg changes already).
