Since the filter chain flip functionality is only at all useful for a
rather special case with the 2 current frame-adding filters I think a
"works for now" workaround would be better done in those filters
directly (mode where they skip extra output frames and only produce 1
output frame for each input frame).

At least I expect to work on it during the next week, I'm not familiar
enough with the filters yet to say how much work it'll take though.
