I am against this. Let's finally make libavutil mandatory!! There are
quite a few place (e.g. endian correct float parsing, alignment-correct
uint32_t reading) that could easily be fixed when we could rely on the
functions and macros defined there.
I hate configure stuff and won't do it (at least for now), but rest
assured, whoever does it will do MPlayer a great favour.
