What's the point of this proposal? The biggest problem with having
libswscale as an external from the MPlayer repository is that it becomes
an unversioned ("whatever the latest version is") external when it
should really be a part of the FFmpeg versioning. The move you suggested
doesn't help at all with that, it just makes it an external in MPlayer
too.
