Well, not directly related, but *g*: seems that mutt can't handle utf8,
so I made mutt call it so that the charset is iso8859-1.
But since I still find utf8 the only sane charset (well, if only it
would work...) I use it for almost anything else.

Well, on the one hand I agree, but on the other hand I'd say it will
look wrong either way *g*
How about other peoples opinions? And also, what about things like
AUTHORS, MAINTAINERS etc? how should it be handled there?
I'm a bit reluctant to change things before everything is discussed in
detail (as you probably already know), so if it's important to you feel
free to go ahead with whatever solution you want.
