My intention is not to flame you.  IMO this is the perfectly normal
review process.  I could not understand why you made that change, so I
asked.  I understand your intention now and I see that you were just
trying to enhance the user experience.

Nevertheless this is against the general policy of MPlayer.  The user's
decisions should be respected, even if they degrade quality.  Judging
from the other mails that arrived this seems to be the general
consensus.  Please reverse this (but don't use 'cvs admin').
