one way to avoid pw questions on cvs commands is the following very trivial
script, sadly it will ignore multiple cvs roots

#!/bin/sh
var=`cat CVS/Root`
cvs -z3 -d :pserver:anonymous@${var#*@} $*
----
and ssh-agent should probably work too ...
