I personally get by annoyed seeing my name misspelled and as you may guess,
it happens all the time. Thus I prefer to see names with proper accents
and umlauts in the AUTHORS file. For the rest of the code it's probably
better to use an ASCII transliteration, but AUTHORS is the place to put
the official and correct spelling IMO. So sure, go ahead and add
yourself in cyrillic letters if you wish, just keep the ASCII
transliteration. Switching AUTHORS over to UTF-8 would be an option,
though I guess most developers are using latin charsets, especially
latin-1 and latin-2.
