That's what I tried to do, before, within the limits of my
aforementioned limited code comprehension - but when I mentioned on -dev
what I'd mostly been ending up using, I was told that it was
inappropriate, and that's where things started to stop.

I'll have another look at it... but again, when #define'ing MSGT_FIXME,
which existing MSGT should it be equivalent to? (For that matter, which
existing MSGL should MSGL_FIXME be equivalent to?)

Will do immediately. I haven't gotten to the work as quickly as I
expected, but with any luck it shouldn't be long.
