Depends on whether those apps are willing to take video processing
seriously or not. I'm not going to oversimplify the vp stuff to make
it slow and limited just so other players can easily use it, but I
don't intend for it to be gratuitously difficult to use either.

As far as the name, audio and video will be independent since they
have very different requirements, so I don't think avfilter is
appropriate. :)
