I discussed this with Sascha on IRC and committed it for him because
he had lost the patch.  No conclusion was reached in the discussion
about this patch.  The problem is that it breaks setting the codecs
directory on Windows, but Real playback is only possible with this
patch under W2K.  It's not perfect, but Joey Parrish promised to come
up with a solution for loading the codecs from the codecs directory
after this patch was applied.

So I don't think I (and Sascha) should start drinking yet... Am I
missing something?
