And it's very hard to keep the manual up to date at this speed of
development.   I don't see the situation improving soon.  Maybe we
could ask patch submitters to add a short description of their new feature
to the man page.  That would help a lot and shouldn't take more than 5-10
minutes for the person that implemented feature XY.  Let's not forget that
there are projects without docs maintainers where the developers have to
write all the documentation by themselves..
