why? configure checks in :
        for I in $_libdir/real /usr/lib/real /usr/lib/RealPlayer*/Codecs \
          /usr/local/RealPlayer*/Codecs /usr/local/lib/RealPlayer*/Codecs; do
so please reverse. You could however mention that it's possible to put only 
the dlls taken from somewhere to /usr/lib/real or LIBDIR/real
