Hmmm, why? MPlayer currently contains GPL parts. Anders CAN release his
source as GPL. The _ONLY_ problem:

NONO!

But:

//  you can redistribute it and/or modify ... etc ... etc ...

Maybe some remarks about that mplayer is free to download but it's not
GPL. (BTW, of'coz it's only true that all developers of THAT part allows
to release that source as GPL).
