Hi.
The problem seems to be the RJPEG video format and not the .nuv
container, because videos with divx video format in a .nuv container are
being played by mplayer!
?
I spoke with some mythtv guys and they said:
Question: I know. But as I posted above someone from the
mplayer mailinglist told me about default values for the "quantizers".
Do they exist in mythtv?
Answer: no
Question: So I would just need to tell mplayer: Hey use these
default values instead of 0.
Answer: I still think that quantizers are for encoding, not
decoding.
?
So what is missing mplayer to play the movie that mythtv does not?
(and why? ;)
As you wrote on your website "support for some more MythTV NUV files"
and as the mythtv guys tell me that they are the only ones using the
.nuv format nowerdays, I am hoping that someone will help me here.
Greetings,
tormen.
