It seems that something damn weird is going with vidix. I have
change my GPU to GeForce 7300 GT. This card is not detected with
both old (22701) and new (23006) revisions. This is all I can get
from mplayer -v -v output:
---
vidixlib: PROBING: nvidia
[nvidia_vid] Can't find chip
---
(other lines are related to other GPU vendors)
Here is lspci info:
---
02:00.0 Class 0300: 10de:02e2 (rev a2)
Flags: bus master, 66Mhz, medium devsel, latency 248, IRQ

Memory at c0000000 (32-bit, prefetchable) [size=256M]
Memory at d1000000 (32-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=16M]

This card is present in pci.db:
---
d 10de02e2 GeForce 7300 GT 1
ftp://download.nvidia.com/developer/Device_IDs/Device_IDs_August_2006.txt
---
but it is not detected by nvidia_vid. I'm wondering why.
